We went to Target yesterday and got to check out all of the Halloween decorations, candy and costumes. Anne is already buying in to all of the wonderful commercializaion of this holiday. We came home and our dinner time conversation went something like this:
Anne: Mommy...I want to knock on doors.
Mommy: When do you get to knock on the neighbor's doors?
Anne: Calloween!
Mommy: So, on Halloween you knock on the neighbor's doors. What do you say when somebody answers it?
Anne: Can I come in???
